Restoring Connections & Temps d’M
After a huge amount of hard-work from the team, spread out across New Zealand, North America, and France, we now have two fully functional branches of the ministry established. Restoring Connections in English, and Temps d’M in French. Woop woop!!! This is something we’ve dreamed of for years and it’s quite surreal to see it coming to pass.
Over the last few months we hosted our first handful of live Temps d’M Foundations Courses here in France. See the pics below. Here’s a story [translated] from one of the people who attended the course we ran together with our team in Montelimar.
“After the Temps d’M workshop, I realised I needed to be courageous and bring my family together to have an important conversation. My brothers and sisters and I knew that it was long overdue. It was painful, and scary to finally be honest with each other, but our hearts were healed as we spoke the truth to each other through our tears, and forgave each other. It is such a relief to have finally done that, and I’m so grateful for how the course gave me the courage and the tools to take a risk and try.”
Our Programmes, Explained
Given that the model we’ve created is quite unique, tt can be a challenge for people to understand exactly what it is that our certified mentors and trainers actually offer. To help with this, we created a simple booklet that spells it out clearly. We have physical copies of this booklet as well, and we’ve love to send you one [or 20!] if you have people in your life that might benefit from any of these programmes.
Training Mentors
The driving focus of Restoring Connections and Temps d’M is training mentors with tools for reconciliation and peacemaking. The goal is to empower people to foster healthy, resilient core relationships, and to teach others within their networks to do the same. As the Foundations Course, Personal Mentoring Programme, and Team Mentoring Programme are now well established, training mentors and course facilitators are the main focus. We are putting the final touches on Version 2 of our Mentors Training programme and will launch it in early 2026.
